I think the muzzle flash would be gone before the gun reached that position, but that doesn't matter because artistic license! :D

yeah i think it needed more orange
i think it also depends on the fact that it's a .454 casull so maybe it might look different?? iunno

my main problem with the drawing is that i feel like the pose looks too casual for someone firing a REALLY powerful revolver
like i wanted for the pose to be more like this
