By "dragon enthusiasts," do you mean, like, furries? Because the only other group of people I know who I would describe as "dragon enthusiasts" are people who play Monster Hunter, and we all know how loose the definition of "dragon" can be...

Also they breath fire (most western-style dragons)

Also they lay eggs (most western dragons)
Except when they don't (I believe eastern dragons have pearls which magically make new dragons or something)
Generally they live for some 300-400 years (drakes)
Except when they don't (literally everything else)
Dragons work however the forget they want to work
