iron mans richard

came across this earlier, figure it's worth sharing

This is something I've constantly thought of, in that the newer art generally seen around today can be seen as jokes, like the woman squatting over a canvas and pushing eggs full of paint out of her vagina. Extremely disgraceful, and actually somewhat infuriating in that rather than attempt to push the envelope even farther in a pseudo-realistic, or stylized method. We are stuck instead with "man sucking own richard" or "not my special interest i just think it means how the government is pleasing itself instead focusing on others" or some stupid bullstuff like that.

here's a perspective and clutter practice drawing i did that i ended up inking in with a ballpoint gel pen

woman squatting over a canvas and pushing eggs full of paint out of her vagina.
i... i want to see this

been playing around with highliters, mixing em up and making new colors

this is a paper drawing which i then scanned and filtered cause i thought it looked nice

That looks really cool actually.

the little floating bits of blue and purple seem like raindrops to me

you know

there was still stuffty art in the 18th century

I've seen modern art in person that people deemed "silly" and "simple" that blew me away. it's unfair how people generalize all modern art

I don't mean to generalize all modern art, and there has always been stuffty art
It's just that a greater deal of modern art now-a-days happens to be some of the stupidest things there are, like if you can pull off splattering paint against a canvas and make it look good and have meaning and actually, yknow, be 'art'. then good for you, but I'm talking about the people who do stupid stuff (example being squeezing eggs full of paint out of their vagina over a canvas in a public space) and then call it "art"

There is definitely good modern art out there, infact some of the best art has been made as of recent. But that doesn't mean the majority is full of people trying to make a quick buck with their "stuff thrown at the wall" painting.

Again, though, this is all of course, my own opinion, my opinion of which some may deem as stupid as the art I insult. Feel free to think what you'd like about art, since that's the thing with art. It's all subjective. In the eye of the beholder is completely true, even if it's used now-a-days as an excuse for "aborted babies in cowboy clothes".

I don't mean to offend and I'm sorry if it came off like that <3

i wasn't really focused on drawing while i was doing these and i did them from memory SO they aren't that great. but hi i'm back.

WO

and i thot me and taboo were the lewdest dudes here

i was going to apply for lady sevacre's collaboration thing with Angel here but i changed my mind, but here's the drawing i did

are you really lewd, camel. you never came off as that to me.
