I wouldn't just say people are saying that, I would say people are at least giving criticism instead of "this sucks"

in this case especially people arent just forgetin biting at him they're genuinely presenting ways to improve

even if metro is being a piece of stuff it's not like his post is completely devoid of useful information

stop calling attention to the way people react to flat if you want people to stop forgetin reacting to him that way, you're almost making it look like there's a protocol to addressing one specific person's art

if people gave as much criticism to everyone's art as they did to flat's art i'd have no problem. hell, i agree with their comments, it is a very flat (no pun intended) drawing.

it's just a cycle of bashing flat's art and only flat's art.

its not that people are bashing flat's art and not others', it's that people just aren't giving criticism or attention to anyone that isn't blatantly begging for any

people just stick to feeding nal, flat's or anyone else's fire and nobody gets the criticism they deserve

like the immediate next serious post is totally the same way we react to flat but it passed right under everyone's radar

the only things immune to knee-jerk richardery are things like madman where clearly its a joke being perpetrated by like 4 people and theyre all drowning out everyone else's opinions

the key difference between flat and everyone else is that when people get upset at flat not changing he gets defensive and when other people are posed with caustic criticism they either try changing it and see if it works or they roll with the joke and make something way more objectionable

like if the issue were 'yo badger stop drawin richards all over your characters' badger'd probably be like 'forget U YOU CANT MAKE ME' and then just draw a character entirely composed of richards, wheras flatflyer would vehemently defend his choice in drawin richards all over the place
