does anyone else have low ass self esteem regarding art

like in digital art most of the stuff i draw either goes unfinished or looks like it'd fit well in OFF, despite being the direct opposite.
or just straight up looks bad

I use to not want to post anything I drew at all until I felt like it was something that I'm happy with
eventually I just learned that I'm not going to be a amazing artist in one day so I just kinda tried to figure out what I would consider "good" in my own capabilities rather than compared to other people.

but lowering your own expectations will not lower anyone elses. if you yourself say your art is not good and lower your expectations to make it seem good nobody else will lower theirs to fit your needs.

all that flat was sayin is that he knows he's not the best but he knows that and is gona keep tryin to be better anyway. nothin wrong with sharing that with a bunch of other people that can give some meaningful advice to help him.

No one ever gives meaningful advice here ever lol. It's just people posting art and commenting on other stuff and that's 99% of this thread. Give critiques. Be honest. If you're anywhere near serious about art, you will appreciate any kind of feedback. It's important for development and people should understand that.
