For my Character Design assessment, I have to create a character turnaround before I start sculpting the character in Mudbox. Finally finished the front perspective. It's pretty loving awful, but it's better than where I started.

Should be noted; the PSD looks fine, but in this png her lower-skirt and boots are darker than what they should be, and the shadows on her upper-skirt got forgeted. Not gonna bother resaving it.

obvious edge-related concerns aside, what is the character for

The assessment is just to make any human character, from concept to animated.

The character is the main player from a game I've been designing as a hobby for 3 years now. She's a combination (literally) of the Greek god Persephone (and by extension Hades), the spirit/God from the Wicca faith and a representation of one of my best friends. The player is technically the best friend, but Persephone and Wicca God are constantly fighting you to abandon the other and complete their own goals.

It might appear it, but I swear I've not been trying to be edgy at all (at least in that "cool" sense that's loving stupid).

Concept for a place I'm working on, Called The Nobles Prison

you should really consider using a thinner brush, your current lineart takes up like a third of the entire drawing

in this case it was cause I used a different color for the lineart at first but didnt like it so I switched back to black but I had to thicken the lines to cover up the older lines so its thique

Oh wow. That reminds m a lot of Tom Gunns old Leaf character we use to be so obsessed about.

We should totally draw her again just to give her a touch of modern :o

big hips big tail big coat big shine
