effort is subjective - just cus it seems like it must've taken hours to you doesn't mean it did.

It's just weird to me that good artists seem to all universally beat themselves up over it in subtle ways when it could be worse. They could be still drawing stickfigures like me lol

Maybe i just don't get it cus i'm not there yet. I've never been good at art personally.

no im not grandma i followed instructions in kindergarten when i was like five that doesnt make me a loving artist
the only differences in art skills between then and now is that im right handed instead of left handed and i have more of an imaginatiom

Maybe i just don't get it cus i'm not there yet. I've never been good at art personally.

The artist has different expectations for their work than you do for theirs. That's why they often dislike what they make.

The few people that see my stuff say that it's good, even great, but they don't necessarily have an eye for the mistakes because they didn't see the progress and all the expectations of what it would look like in a perfect world from start to end.

I meant the size of the breasts, I snipped an explanation for the size of them after realizing "no matter what I say he'll still think it's weird" lol.
