Author Topic: Otis Goes Dancing  (Read 2214 times)

So for stuffs and giggles I decided to go ballroom dancing tonight. It was very fun! I don't have very much dancing experience but some of the women there were also professional dance instructors so they helped me get some basic moves down. It was very fun and I am thinking about taking further lessons.

I did some Rumba, and Waltz, and Swing, and Merengue, and some other stuff.

My experience with martial arts and general fitness made picking up the routines a fairly easy task. I didn't have any problems with moving out of sync with my partner or stepping on them.

So, does anyone else here like to dance?

As a side note, if anyone ever tells you honey bourbon and mountain dew go together tell them they are a damn dirty liar.

Shouldn't you be studying your fancy electrical engineering laser stuff? No fun allowed.

I play with lasers all day, you gotta get out and have some other fun sometimes.

were any of them young enough for you?

Dancing's fun, sounds like you had a good time.

were any of them young enough for you?
Well they were in their 40s, 50s, and 60s.

Now that I think about it, there was a car slowly driving by my house.....

I used to be quite the break-dancer two years ago.

A friend of mine's dad used to teach a class. We were taught simple routines and moves, then it got more complicated. I haven't put the time into picking it up again and learning new things, but I definitely will in the future. It was really fun, quite the experience.
