Finally I'm learning algebra, again. I'm only in 7th grade lul. Last time I worked on algebra was last year. But basically this is all I know:

n + 8 = 5 x 6
n + 8 = 30
n - 8 + 8 = 30 - 8.
    (n = 22)
Check:
22 + 8 = 5 x 6
30 = 30

Teacher said it gets harder in high school. Where you don't have to just look at it and say. "Wow this is easy, it's 22 + 8!"
