I got assigned Redo Cafe, which is like lunch detention to make up missing work, for an assignment that the teacher forgot to put in the gradebook. I had the assignment cleared, but I had to take the slip to the Redo Cafe room during lunch to clear myself. However I completely forgot about the thing, and now once I go back to school on Monday (or Tuesday, I think we're off on Monday) I could get a notification of "skipping Redo Cafe" with possible after school detention. What should I do? D:

Just bring it the next day. Your teacher should have dated it, showing that you shouldn't get in trouble.

Other than that, that sucks.

I've had sort of similar things happen to me before.
It takes a little bit of charm, keeping calm, and delivering the work.
Usually, if you can get to the teacher who it was in to, prior to being told about this after school detention, then you can get away with it.
Otherwise, just go to it. It's only, what, a half hour, an hour?

If you've got the work anyway, and you're in the after school to do it, then maybe you can explain that you have it and you simply forgot.

Inform them of the mistake the teacher made. You don't need to be punished for mistakes somebody else made.
