You should've just said "make up."
When you're using make-up as an adjective, you add the hyphen.
When using it as a verb, there is no hyphen.

In Atlanta, the snow is pretty frozen, but it cant hold humans up, unfortunately. And the road is covered in ice, so I also might not have school tomorrow :3
