Can someone make a client sided add-on thats hides this and leaves original chat?

You mean forcing normal chat? That should be easy, as long as a chat mod still routes through the normal chat methods. Although I'd rather not throw out some code here, someone else.

An ignore system is a great idea! I'm adding that to the bin.

Keep the requests/suggestions coming.  No rational idea is left out.

Yea,I just will find a server with this annoying also the emote icons make it look like roblox's new emote icon feature -_-.
So can someone make a client script that disables this and keeps it normal chat?

I can add that to the chatmod, where each client gets to decide how they recieve messages.  It wont be exactly the same as regular chat, but it won't be "annoying" like you said.

Also: what does strCmp() do?  Dispite the fact this is a chatmod, I'm not very good at working with string functions.

Figured it out

I'm pondering releasing a .txt with all the code that I needed to take out, that you could just copy and paste into the server.cs file.  However, Ephialtes might not like that.  I'll make a poll?

If you re-include the remote eval or even provide people with instructions to re-insert it then this is going straight back to the Fail Bin. I've explained maybe three times now that it is not allowed. It is not allowed.

Ok, fine.

And Kal, thanks for the google Idea.

I edited the script just a bit to my liking.

The biggest thing I changed were the timestamps. I have it show the player's ping instead.

Interesting. I have a function to test your own ping, but one to see the ping of other players is useful.  However, I'm not sure that is really something to put in a chatmod.  More of a /pingclients command would be great.  The shorter default titles are probably a good idea too.

Ping seems kind of useless if it's only between that player and the server (not accounting for back to you), but whatever. His looks much prettier.

I'm really not a fan of bold text.  I like my arial.
