Author Topic: Maybe reincarnation is true?  (Read 4670 times)

Someone should prepare the defense systems.
I would but I'm too lazy.
I'd rather bash him and tell him how much of a handicap he is but then I'd be a hypocrite once more.

If you REALLY think that then you're looking at it wrong/loving handicapped.
I didn't understand what he ment until I carefuly considered it.
No, see my brain isn't so completely dysfunctional that I can't extract information properly from the context in which it is presented and extrapolate a meaning from it.

Here's what happened

Me: Ah, he must mean nuclear fusion.
You: MATTER CANNOT BE CREATED OR DESTROYED LOOK AT HOW  MUCH SMARTER I AM THAN JUBEL BLOCKLAND FORUMS.

And it's also rather hypocritical for you to say that because you're picking on my for picking on him because I didn't know what he ment at first.
No, Jubel wasn't being handicapped. It's clear he knew what he was talking about but didn't quite state it properly. One could easily realize the meaning behind his post before lashing out like you did.

You are just being handicapped and deserve every bit of scorn.

I see what you're saying Solid, but it doesn't quite work like that.

Yes, an exact replica of you has a possibility of being formed sometime in the human existence. But your memories and you in your entirety are just electrical waves inside your brain. Therefore, the replica you wouldn't be you.

Otis is correct though, since you edited my above post to make it seem out of context.

You do realize I understand what you mean now, right? I'm not oh-so-perfect and I don't understand unintentional illogical fallacies right away like Otis does.

You're incorrect.

"Jubel: thinghesaidiforgot"
"Me: Hmm. That's not really correct, I'll just let him know."

"Jubel: watch steven hawkings, I dunno how to explain this :S"
"Me: 2lazy and steven hawkings will probably explain about matter being created from exploding stars"

"You: YOU loving handicap HE MENT NUCLEAR FUSION"
"Me: No, I belive he meant matter being created"
"You: stop picking on him you richard"
"Me: Oh, I get it now."
"You: YOU'RE handicapped YOU WERE PICKING ON HIM YOU handicap YOU DESERVE INSULTS"
"Me: No, I didn't understand at first."

I wasn't loving picking on him. Get that through your thick skull already.

You shouldn't have done that.
almost started crying

jeez stop making me laugh so hard

Why does everyone believe that they won't just end? It's sad to see so many people believing that they are going to live forever.
You simply die. Brain dies out, you die out. Boom. You are no longer.

Shut up, son.

Yes that is the simplistic way of seeing reality.

No, you enjoy your life now. You die later.

Jesus christ it's not that hard to comprehend people.

I think he's meaning a sense of the fact that, we're made up of matter and wee're living.
However, eventually, we'll die and rot away and all that, but as has been stated so many times in this topic, Matter isn't destroyed, and so, maybe in however many millions or billions of years, the same matter that was once us, has now become another living organism.

I don't think he's implying that we'll retain the same consiousness, but just that the matter that is our bodies, will one day, become a body for something else.

Atleast, that's what I would consider this form of reincarnation, as this is the only concept I could see as logical, what with all the space science going on in this topic. I don't think reincarnation has to be including the cognitive functions and personalities, which spiritual beliefs always include.

Ah, I see. Yeah that seems clearer.

Then the same reasoning applies, if the universe was close to infinite, the same variables involved in creating you could fall into place again, and there you go.
