Author Topic: Ping is ---  (Read 1235 times)

I know, there has been alot of topics with the same title, but I cant figure this out. My ping is --- and no one can join my server.  I changed my Windows firewall settings and made sure UPnP was enabled. Hell, I even port forwarded (I know you dont have to, but I did just in case).

I cant think of anything that I've changed since the problem started except my graphics card and a new power source thing was added to my computer. I doubt either of those would change anything, and I think I might have had players on one time with the new one. I can go to other peoples servers, and my internet connection is fine. And my computer is a brand new HP that I got 3 or 4 months ago. I have been able to host servers on my computer though.

If you have anything that might be help, please post it. I would be very thankful for help.

Just a normal server. I tried dedi but ended up exiting before it started up. But all other times it was just a normal server.

...
I got nothing.

Maybe someone else can help you.

wait-did you check the console log to see what firewall port it was?

Well, uh no. Im not sure how to though.

Open Blockland Folder. See Console.log. Attach to next post.

Dedicated Server doesnt even appear on server list
Normal server ping is ---

Ok, so the Console text file in my Blockland folder? And if so , how do I attach it to my next post?

Ok, between [Post] and the typing box, there is a link that says:

> Additional Options...

Click it. Then go down to the part that says Attach. Click Browse... Then go to your blockland folder, and click the console.log. It will upload, and we can see what the problem is.

Ok, I think ive got it. Will it help though?

So does anyone have a solution to my problem?

This is an off-topic question, but do you use Windows or Mac?

You will not believe how many times I see this question.

It's just an internet problem.  YOur internet-router connections are not reaching the quota needed for internet hosting.  I'm afraid there's nothing I can do.

V14 really garshnipped up servers.

That doesnt make sense to me considering nothing about my internet connection has changed. Im using the same router as I was when I had normal ping levels. My Internet has 4 out of 5 bars.

Is there anything else that could be a problem?
