Why say that...oh god its almost as if you are trying to make me say a joke.
IMO, he's calling you a stupid animal who pulls stuff out of its ass and throws it in people faces.

In what way?

In the way that you said people learn better because black people aren't in their schools.

It is true, if you really want to see statistics of Ivy League college students' race, then be my guest.

Does it matter? Should I care how many black people are in my community?

You're just an idiot what wants to be right about everything.

Rave, give it a rest. You're not proving anything, you're just spouting random racism.

Spot on ol' chum.

That is racism. Everyone has an advantage to getting better grades beause black people arn't at their schools.
I think everyone is getting a little "R Word" happy. Maybe racism was a bit of a stretch but for forget's sake, we might as well start every response to a post about black people with "that's racism" the way we're using it in this thread.

I was just pointing out how his post can be interpreted as racism.

Hah hah.

Oh my god I lol'd.  How could you have possibly gotten that out of what I said?

No, it's the quality of the schools that the city has, which aren't particularly good.  I'm just speaking in reality.  Many African Americans live in poorer parts of New York, with poorer school districts.  Going from there, their education is worse, leading to poorer test scores and a poorer chance of getting into a good college.  Colleges are supposed to have racial equality and love equality, and it doesn't always work out that way.

And I'm definitely not tribal.  The way my parents talk about immigrants and foreigners actually disgusts me.

tribal
I jest I jest.

Seriously getting butthurt over racism on the internet is really stupid, it's just words here, I don't like it but I don't see a reason to molest someone else over their incorrect opinion.

yet with colleges that are fairly good minorities do have a bit of an edge being that black people don't exactly flood the good colleges.

You're not that bright

Am I the only one that thinks that at this point referring to black people as "African American" is more tribal than just saying black? Like, people would call me white before they called me a German American, but, you know, tracing my paternal line back to the early 18th century, all my forefathers were living in Germany so we should probably call me a German American.

Black people do tend to be at a disadvantage in some senses, yet with colleges that are fairly good minorities do have a bit of an edge being that black people don't exactly flood the good colleges.

No offense.
These posts contradict themselves. In top quote you say you are not tribal, yet in second quote you say the good colleges have beter grades because they don't have black people. Get the forget out and go back to school.

You're not that bright
You are clearly missing the ENTIRE POINT.

Aren't you fairly young?  Life isn't an ideal place, deal with it.

Allow me to address the two over-sensitive morons at the same time.

There aren't many blacks in Harvard, for example.  Colleges attempt to have a fairly even spread of their students' races, so they aren't accused of being "tribal" by friends like you two.  If there is a Caucasian with a 96 average, and a Black with a 95 average, they will be more likely to take the black, so they have a better spread of race.

Stop being such a stupid pusillanimous individual.  Deal with the cards you are dealt.  Make it work.

I think they'd skip over both of them and take the person with a 105 average regardless of their skin color.

Because, you know, it's loving Harvard.

I'm just going to ignore Rave if all he's going to do is spew bullstuff
