Knife name

I'm not sure of the name of this type of knife but I'm hoping someone can help me. Its a knife that's blade is dull, but its point is sharp and lethal. It can't slit your throat, but can be stabbed into it. It usually had tape on the handle for a grip and I beleive its made out of some sort of carbon fiber material. I think it is a training knife, but that honestly doesn't sound right. Please help me, I want to buy one for my Birthday.

Its blade isn't metal. Its some sort of carbon fiber material and it usually has a tactial sort of tape on the handle as a grip.
