Author Topic: The Zeitgeist Movement - A better way for humanity  (Read 17358 times)

You don't even need to be intelligent to know that there will ALWAYS be bad people stealing and doing crimes. Without anyone to enforce these laws what will happen? I am also pretty sure that we would lose most technology, due to the fact that we must pay for it, and that other countries won't give us anything for free. And working without pay? That is.... ugh.  What you guys described was anarchy at it's worst.
You have formulated an extremely warped idea of what the Zeitgeist movement aims to do. You used the word "pay," for one, you seem to believe we would lose all technology from it, and that people would be forced to work as they do now.

No.

I'm sitting here using the computer, I'm a bit of a nerd, but 2 hours is not something I can spare. What makes you think the rest of the population will have the time do listen to your ideals if its that loving long.

This would exist if people believed there was scarcity - and there would not be scarcity.
Hah, People are greedy by nature. You don't need the belief of scarcity to steal something you would want.

Tom

If I was stupid enough to watch these 2 hour films in my spare time, I would be stupid enough to believe in this.

Also scarcity is the base of any economic system.

People get into debt because they are unable to handle capital.

Employment is beneficial to keeping our society running.

Taking this economic system down now would cause so much loving chaos, and an even greedier starfish with a seemingly good economic system which turns out to be really stuffty would fill this vacuum of economic power. And yes, people need an economic system to keep order.

We are not enslaving anybody, any countries who are so called "enslaved" economically to the US just have stuffty governments that allow us to invest capital in businesses and regulate those businesses that they allowed us to setup up over there.

The only way this would work if is there was 1 person left on the earth with these ideals.

I had the time, as did Thar and Spock.

Scarcity will not exist in this society. Consider the word scarcity. You're not getting what I mean by it.

Also scarcity is the base of any economic system.
Scarcity is the base of any MONETARY economic system.

Scarcity is the base of any MONETARY economic system.

For the last damn time

We have been well off! Are you really saying that there will be no corruption and we will all eat hotdogs in a field of flowers while listening to albums of music? Well these hotdogs would be made from human flesh, the grass in the field from the massive amounts of dead bodies that have been put through a woodchipper, and the music would have been stolen from a store that was then burned to the ground after it.

Also this movement is assuming the US is the only "enslaving, starfish, greedy" superpower on this earth.

Try loving introducing this to sultans in Saudi Arabia, and they'll laugh at you so hard and then put a bullet in your head.

"I feel as though my share is not sufficient so I will steal.", "I want to have more power over everyone else so I will steal", "I am an starfish so I will steal." You believe no one will think any of these?

Again..

I'm watching the films as we speak.
This movement is wanting to create a society that would burn faster than straw.

Tom

Unless you want to be a hypocrite, I would probably get of the computer now. I'm sure at least one part of it was made by some underpaid person in China, and you probably paid for it with money didn't you?

wowe thi is bulles hit if ameria not the country who els>>???

The Zeitgeist Movement is the poorly preached activism group for The Venus Project. Its ideas are based on Peter Joseph's second interwebz film Zetigeist: Addendum which is about Jacque Fresco's The Venus Project. Joseph claims to want to change the world for good while insulting bible bashers and the pride of people who've spent their lives doing an irrelevant and pointless job.

well I don't, and I'm not even going to consider the ideals you want me to be aware of if you won't even loving tell me what they are.
Cool - you can link to encyclopedia dramatica. Their blockland article isn't very favorable either. They kind of hate everything. I would know, I thought that site was the stuff when I was 13.

I couldn't begin to cram the amount of information they put into two 2-hour documentaries in a post, and if I did, it'd be a stuffty job. Find the time and stop posting until then.

It doesn't. It FOCUSES on the US in the documentaries. Bear in mind that many semi-recently formed governments are modelled in large part around the united states.
