Interesting.

HP's attempt at making PC's seem like cars... they call their products "Luxury" computers. They currently only have two products, the Envy 133 laptop (I'm assuming it's powerful) and the Firebird gaming desktop, which is built by HP but has "Voodoo DNA".

Again, interesting. I want to say that they are going to be overpriced and stuffty but I can't get my eyes off of that Envy. The desktop looks awesome as well.

Discuss.

The Envy reminds me a lot of my Alienware laptop.
'cept with more glossy surfaces which are sure to attract fingerprints.

I know someone who has the desktop one and its basically a laptop in a tower

I thought voodoo meant voodoo 3d.

I thought of Voodoo Vince when I saw the title :o

The laptop is stuff but the desktop is alright

Envy has Intel GMA graphics and meh specs. Its gross.

I don't think its geared towards gaming like the Firebird is. I think it's just a standard issue laptop that they think is amazing.

Edit: Although I would say the laptop is extremely lovey.

They look lovey, but aren't impressive.

Saving up. Any suggestions?

Yeah this was like, a serious turn-off when I read it. Laptop is pretty much stuff.

As for prices, the last time this website was updated was January 2009... I don't think they're even sold anymore. :(

EDIT: This brand of PCs is dead. Proof from Gizmodo.

"We'd speculated before that Voodoo was essentially toast, but we really wondered what was up when HP appropriated the 'Envy' brand and design into HP laptops. Aaaand we it seems from Rahul Sood's latest that it's basically dead."

Also, the lead from Voodoo is also confirming it in a blog post.
