Author Topic: Is this a good gaming PC for the price?  (Read 2909 times)

I might be able to get my dad to get this gaming PC for me in a few weeks. Its a rather low price for a gaming PC but is it worth getting? Would it be able to run games like Fallout 3 Champions Online TF2 and other stuff?

I wouldn't really call that a gaming PC.

For its price, I'd personally say yes.
But of course.
I'd say yes for almost anything better than my current ones.

But you should not base your purchases of computers only on what I say.
Get some other opinions too.

I wouldn't really recommend upgrading to a dual-core theses days. Most games use about 3 cores. Quad-core processors can be as cheap as $100. A good graphics card would probably run you $160. If you can save up $600 then you could get something significantly better. Just my perspective...

Nope.

"Most games" Only really support up to 2, Just a few support up to 3.

I'd really only recommend a Quad-core if you do a bunch of video/image editing.

If you're counting games that are like 3 years old. Of course old games are more abundant...

Any game from the last two years uses around 3 cores. There's a bittech article if you want me to dig it up.

the nerve of some people...

It doesn't seem bad at all for $500.

Do you think I would be satisfied with that for playing minecraft or blockland?
I think I could get it and I don't know....
BTW I'm using a 1.6 Intel n270 processor on a netbook with a intel gma 950 graphics card with 400mb gpu or whatever
I can run minecraft fine on short draw distance, but above that and it starts sputtering
Blockland and tdms are a no no for me. I'm well willing to upgrade

It looks like a toilet.

Why do people STILL like tf2.         It's old and gay like that old guy on family guy

You're stupid.

People can like any game they want. I like TF2, I think it is very fun. Valve updates it almost daily, too.

There is no way you are 15. I have yet to see a 15 year old this stupid, unless you have down syndrome.

The reason I like TF2 is cause Ive never played it and I think it looks awesome.

@Jorici Whos the stupid one? Both battle and my profile say were 15.
