Hello, I was thinking about internet on the go, and I got to thinking about this Cisco Valet.

On the websites I read, it says it's a standalone device which simply lets you connect to the internet.

So if I plugged this into a car, hooked it up to a laptop, etc., would I be able to get internet, or is this not possible? (Supposing I have a car adapter -> power plug device.)

Theres also the virgin mobile hotspot for like 40 dollars a month and I think Cricket offers one for cheaper

Nope, checked.

There's a support fee after the first year, though.

The device might be free but you'd probably have to pay for actually connecting with it.

No, the device costs money. It's a router, just a lot easier to set up.
