When said aloud it doesn't sound as bad. "Ruh shawn" is the correct pronunciation.
Sounds like someone pronouncing "Russian" with a terrible accent.
What happened to good names, with meanings, proper sounds, proper spellings and that aren't actually embarassing to introduce yourself as?
And believe me, I know about bad names. My cousin was named "Moya". You say Moya, you think Mayo!
Anyway, little children cry all the time when you're playing with them. My cousins, when I was last playing with them (youngest was about 4), cried all the time, whenever they were told off, fell over, didn't understand what was going on, etc...
I find it's best to just tell them to calm down, in a nice friendly way, then introduce them to play a new game.
They're not too bothered about remembering things. They're very easily distracted.
My name is Damien.
One of my black friends whom we call Quay said I have a black name.
;-;
I'll tell you what though.
This Quay and my other black friend, Justin, are the coolest black dudes known to man.
As far as I know, Damien is most definitely a traditionally white, european (Greek origins) name.
