Author Topic: Pros and Cons of EW  (Read 4081 times)

I think we need EW so I don't need to think or have any challange in what I build.

Than get the fck off this forum and go play RTB.

Noone understands Otis anymore....

Yet another big update has been made to Phantasy Star Universe, bringing players some much-anticipated goodies. Today's update redecorates the Gurhal system in White Day decorations, which includes the new WD Lovers room decoration, dropped by the "Jaggo Amure" (a White Day version of the Jaggo). The update also introduces a new level cap of 80, raised from the previous level cap of 70.Allthese EW threads might as well be joke threads

I was trying to be a bit serious here- I am just saying that I agree some aspects of the RTB "Editor Wand" were devastating to the concept of building in Blockland, some aspects made building extra nice.

Those aspects not being stretchable bricks or floating bricks.

Wiz doesn't like those.

I forgot to add build through too, I hate that.
Also, if RTB does not include any of those than I will gladly get it once it's out.

It will be a cold day in hell when we allow stretched bricks, build through, floating, etc. There's nobody that supports old-fashioned building more than us. We only put those in because of the lag that came with a ton of bricks in v0002. Those features are useless now, and they would only serve to pollute the builds of retail. :)

If you plan your building foundations carefully and think through all aspects of it, you shouldn't need to cheat to fix it.

I like retail as it is. There doesn't need any major game-play changes. All it needs is more stuff. Decals, headgear, backgear, hand models, shoe models, brick types, weapons etc.

The game is perfect as it is, and can only be improved by some more stuff.

Although melee combat is just mostly luck. I'd like a shield type weapon for the left hand. That is my opinion.

"need more stuff"

lol :D

Retail(like in rtb) should have a setting to toggle floating bricks, bricks in bricks, and various other placement problems.

No, no, and no.
People, this is like building with real Legos!
I only agree that Badspot should add more bricks.
But you can't stretch real lego, or make lego float, or put pieces into each-other.

I can pick it up, spin my creation around, and add/move bricks to the bottom.

Because it's a valid point.
