How can an item be part of one minigame, yet not be part of that minigame?

It sounds weird, but that's exactly whats going on with me.
I had a fortwars up a few days ago, and other people's items were both part and not part of my ONE minigame that I created.
How is this possible, and if there is a solution, what is it?

I have default minigame and dedicated minigame enabled.
And last time I checked, they weren't admins.

Probably some of those addons I downloaded from that site...

If they left, you can't pick up their items or ride their vehicles (while in a minigame).
