Author Topic: Windows 7. Yes or no?  (Read 1503 times)

I run windows 98, I don't know what the forget you guys are on.

Here is all of the well-known Windows computers operating systems and if to buy or not buy them.

3.1: No ( Outdated ) why?
95: No ( Can only support up to IE5 ) yeah, IE support really matters /sarcasm
98: Yes ( Decent for an old OS ) but why?
2000: Yes ( Same as 98 ) not the same, not meant for home computer use, built off the NT kernel, not the 9 kernel
ME: No ( Computer crashes very often ) duh
XP: Yes and no ( Once the final version of IE9 comes out, XP will fall into outdated because it can only support IE5-8 ) WHO THE HECK CARES ABOUT IE SUPPORT, IT DOESN'T FREAKING MATTER (besides, you should get firefox)
Vista: No and Never come on, you haven't even tried it, just like you've only tried about two of these, but no, you should not get vista
7: Yes of course
7 Home Premium: Yes this is all you need
7 Buisness: Yes no, it doesn't have anything useful for non-network users or other home computer users
7 ULTIMATE: Yes Yes Yes. no, the few "upgrades" are very rarely used by the people who can use them, and 99% of home computer users can't

Hope the list helps if you need it in the future.

I'm running 7 Ultimate because you're an idiot

Fixes in bold.

I hate people who do all of these things:
A. Use Internet Explorer
B. Get the latest version of Windows and expect it to be better because it's newer
C. Don't know the difference between a server/network OS and a home OS
D. Think that the highest price version of Windows is best, because it's higher priced and it has "more features"
E. Act like they know everything about Windows/computers in general.

I had Vista a while ago. It was horrible.

Yes, yes it was, but a lot of people only say that, they've never tried it themselves.  Apparently you automatically become cool if you hop on the Vista-hate bandwagon.

-snip-

It ran on my HP (which was a piece of stuff anyways) before it died, and it ran on my Dell before I got 7.

There is nothing wrong with vista.

It ran on my HP (which was a piece of stuff anyways) before it died, and it ran on my Dell before I got 7.

Finally, someone who is not riding without a ticket on the Vista-hate bandwagon.

No, you haven't even tried it

Do I need to provide a picture of my computer for proof I have?

I was assuming based on the complete lack of knowledge you displayed in the rest of your post.  If you actually have tried it, then JOLLY GOOD FOR YOU, SIR!
