Cold-blooded actually means they don't regulate their own body heat, unlike Humans who have their core temperature at around 98.6 Fahrenheit at all times. So yeah, buy a heated rock or a heat lamp to keep her or him comfortable.

I heard heat rocks/pads can get them burned, I have a heat lamp but we had to turn it off for the night, they need 8 hours of darkness or get stressed. This morning waking him up was scary, he seemed dead, but he is okay now. :3
