Just a good place to start off.
I know the basics and everything, just need to start the commands.
I've tried a few simple edits, but they didn't work out.
Just need a starting place, cause I'm going everywhere.

You keep saying you can't model, you won't.
Try blender 2.49 and this tutorial.

It may be long, and somewhat boring, but it WILL help you in the future.

And there is a general blender help thread in mod help section.

Bits?
Bits are a binary unit.
A basic 0 or 1.
They really aren't used referenced in torque specifically as you'll almost never need to break down more complex data forms into pure binary.
