My top 5:
5. Some Like it Hot
-We watched this in my Video Production class, and I was surprised at how funny it actually was. Not only that, but Marilyn Monroe can give just about any guy a huge hard on.
4. Men In Black
-stuff was my childhood movie right here. I just loved really everything about this, and I thought the combination of two totally different actors (Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones) was really good.
3.The Butterfly Effect
-I know this movie isn't really that good. Although, I've always watched it and it always hits me and makes me wonder how I affect the people around me, and other things of the sort. Normally, I'm not too fond of Ashton Kutcher in any role, but after I saw this, I had some respect for the guy. Surprisingly, he can be somewhat of a good actor.
2. One Hour Photo
-Before this, I never paid much attention to Robin Williams. Though, after seeing this, he became one of my favourite actors. This movie wasn't scary, nor creepy It just had a dark-weird vibe to it that made me want to keep watching.
1. SLC Punk!
-This movie is loving amazing. It stars Matthew Lillard (he played Shaggy in the live action Scooby Doo movie), and a bunch of not-as-popular actors as young adults in the punk scene of Salt Lake City. The movie isn't really based on love, drugs, music, or violence, but more what Steveo (Matthew Lillard) thinks of everything, and what he starts to realize as he lives his life as a punk. And although their acting skills aren't the best, they still do a great job.
