Author Topic: where is the wrench .cs file at?  (Read 4055 times)

I thought about editing the wrench, and I started looking for it.
After sifting through several folders, I couldn't find it.
Anyone know where it is at?

have you tried ctrl-F, if windows
no idea if mac =D

It's hard coded into the game, so you won't be able to find it without de-compiling the game I think.

Well that's just DUCKY.

now what do I need to decompile.
I'll pull something from the net to do it.

It's easier on Mac, There's and add-on FOLDER that contains all default weapons/maps/decals/vehicles as well as the custom ones.

funnily enough, that won't have it either
and it's the same setup as on windows, there is an addon folder...

Your right, I was looking at the MultiTool's Wrench.cs.

I believe it's in that allGameScripts.cs.dso or whatever it's called in the base's server folder.

So all I have to do is copy that and decompile it somewhere else?

Good luck decompiling a super encrypted file!

i wouldn't be surprised if that broke the terms of service or whatever

I think you can decompile it with 7-zip.

wat? I looked it up, and DSO files are a hassle to decompile.
But I'll give it a shot.
