Author Topic: My computer is not starting up  (Read 580 times)

Well, firstly, there is obviously no power running through it as my mouse is not lighting up, nor is my keyboard's num lock light.

Is there any way too figure out what the problem is? I know that either the PSU or the Motherboard is fried.

Anyways, how are you posting? A phone? Some other device?

My dad's laptop via WiFi

Only way to figure it out is to get an extra PSU and try it, if it works then you know the PSU fried, else you know the mobo fried.

Wow, I am dumb. Probobly should have checked with my old one.

.

Oh also, how old is your computer?

.
That's unrelated, unnecessary, and frankly, quite stupid.

Check the parts that miight be fried, if they are not, go to the manufacturer's website and see what might be the problem. It might be the SMC.
