Author Topic: The State of Blockland  (Read 3087 times)

Mostly, people are just doing the same thing as other people, and it seems everyone over ID 21000 doesn't know how to spell and rages when they get sniped.

Personally, I mix things up by hosting my Destruction Derby (which I am going to make not a race-type thing but an actual arena)

In case you're wondering, my BL_ID = 9746.
A demolition derby? It just can't be done with Torque. Also, quit stereotyping, there are many good servers made by 20k IDs, and pletty of bad ones hosted by low IDs.

As long as the stereotype doesn't go over the line, its a legitimate thought process. People who are newer to the game are less experienced, which is a fact. They have spent less time on the game and have less experiences. Yet this can also prove that people who have been on longer think that they are the greatest people in the world and are too full of themselves to see the real picture.

Right now, 20k servers are good, but you won't see any good servers from 27k ids, because they just joined.

It very well depends on if the people and their age, the threshold varies on that of when the will create their first server. But some people who maybe are older (and smarter) can create good servers right off the back, so when and how good is really a changing and dynamic variable.

I dunno. Llots of kiddies have plenty of experience with legos. This isn't much different.

I thought this was gonna be about a map or build someone made.
I wish there was no lag in blockland, then I would make the hugest and ugliest city ever!

Its not about how well they can build, its about how well they can create and manage a sever.

I gotta stop doing this.

What's going on these days? Popular server types? Add-ons? Maps?

But that is a very small minority, and they usually state who they previously were.

We'll I know Mini Empires are popular now too. Army RPs and Military RPs aren't being hosted as much, but can get real popular if you do it right. By the way, Rob 2 server is down until the next patch. Also, I think I found a print glitch of sorts.

Jails are popular when they're up, me and my brother hosted a jail rp last week got 30 people at once.
