May be, but it sure does make people do stupid stuff.  You can get into numerous accidents due to drugs.

The incident happened after a night of drinking, smoking pot, and taking Ecstasy. After arriving home, the woman parked her car, with the man still lodged in her windshield, and left him there until his death.
