weed is illegal because a propaganda campaign was held to outlaw hemp, a byproduct of the pot plant. it's not addictive or harmful to you unless you smoke it, even so the smoke is what hurts you, not the weed.

Okay, so just because alcohol is legal and can contribute to the deaths of other means its perfectly fine to legalize something else that kills people.

By you're logic you are doing the equivalent of saying stabbing someone to death is not as bad as shooting someone dead because it happens less frequently. It still kills someone, its still bad.

smoking crack or weed?

weed is not addictive or harmful to your health as long as you vaporize it in a bong or in some sort of water as opposed to smoking it.

crack will kill you, that stuff is like smoking rat poison.

It can be Mentally Addictive, but not physically adictive.
