It's not like I go around trying to break every god dam rule. We're imperfect, we're human. If god created us in his image then he must have faults as well. Noah's ark is a great example. He tried to kill us but changed his mind. God is as imperfect as us.

If you're catholic, which I guess you are, you either follow the pope or you're not.

Some people identify with certain religions, even if they don't completely agree with it, for the grounds of tradition. They were raised as such or they enjoy the practices or whatever their reason may be. Similiar to why some atheists may celebrate Christmas.

Once more, speaking on a personal level, I don't see why anyone would fear an all-Loving God nor do I believe God is cruel by any sense. :o
