Why people make such a big deal out of this, I'll never know.  Its like half the forum are living in a 'bubble' of sorts, they're so used to text being the default color and size, that the second they see someone using a new font/size/color they become scared and the only thing they can think of doing is calling that person a moron, out of fear of change, and someone popping their bubble.

I for one have no problem with this, unless the person does it in such a way that its hard to read.

They do it because they like it and they can. It doesn't effect you in any way and you're simply overreacting. If you don't like their decisions, your comment of telling them to stop posting can go for you as well. You're saying that people who type up papers are "trendy little starfishs" if they make their font Comic Sans MS when the rest of the people use Times New Roman though there are no officials requirements for the paper.
