Not really. I actually enjoyed typing in grey text and I still have yet to see the issue with it. If it really upsets you guys that much then I'll stop as said.

There is no need to use a different color. It's only going to make this place an eyesore, at the expense of your wasted time adding in pointless BBC. I won't make a big deal out of it, but really, don't ever expect a response from me if you're using a different color.
Font sizes do not bother me one bit, that's why I never complained about Emerson.
