Author Topic: The New MacBook Air is a piece of stuff :/  (Read 7340 times)

thats like 200 dollars for a pc laptop. and the only reason it would EVEN cost that much is because a store wouldn't carry it otherwise.
god my phone is more powerful then that thing

I bet my video card I'm going to get in the summer will be able to overclock more processing power then the macbook air processor.

Its sad when a 1200 dollar laptop only has .4GHz more processing power than a modern smartphone (EVO)

It sickens me that people buy this stuff.

Holy stuff, I never though it could be this bad.

1.4 ghz processor.

2 gb of RAM

150gb hard drive.

And the forgeter costs 1200$
That's Apple for you.

My 7-years-old computer has that specs, with 500 MB RAM off. (1.5 GB RAM)

This could be usefull as a mobile terminal of sorts within a large campus to link to various mainframes and use them for the more intensive calculations and stuff.

Getting close but not quite.
As a computer itself... lolnope

As a convenient mobile interface yeah

Lol whoops no:

Air lasts about 5 hours on a charge

Ok no redeeming value it is.

The "new" macbook air is stuff?
Because the previous one wasn't?

The new one being stuff is not exclusive.
Don't be such a douche.

To be fair, the SSD can make the price of any computer go up by a lot, and since this one has such a large capacity SSD...

...oh the forget who am I kidding look at those specs, my M11x costed almost $200 less than that and yet my M11x has better performance, better battery life and better everything.

The M11x is lovey. :D
I have the M17.

Hey my friend said he was going to get the cheapest macbook pro and I told him he'd be better off getting a PC laptop for the same price (About £1000) Are the mac book pros bad aswell?
