Author Topic: The New MacBook Air is a piece of stuff :/  (Read 7325 times)

a. i'd had a bad experience with windows at the time, get over it. I'm not completely stupid:
      1. i had owned a windows for what, 7 years? i was looking for something easier to use cause sometimes i suck at computering
      2. the computer was goddamn infested with viruses.
b. this is an old macbook. I'm not talking about the new stuff ones. when i almost broke it they offered to buy a new one for 200 dollars more: wasn't worth it.

all in all, it's not complete stuff.
forget off.

You expect a mac to be good?

Yeah and their opinions can be stupid.

You payed more then you had to for a chrome OS that doesn't even work well.

Lol yuki, I hope you were joking about that Toshiba Qosmia you said. That's way overpriced. MacBooks Pros aren't bad, specs are NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 memory, 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 4MB shared L3 cache, 4GB RAM, and 500GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive.

All the specs you just listed for the MBR are decent or stuff.

Toshiba Qosmia basically costs as much as an alienware but has slightly better hardware.
Also DrPepper I think you need to learn more about hardware.

The total price of those parts is probably around $600. Mac sells their stupid tin foil computer for over a thousand dollars.

Yes, you are. The computer being infested with viruses is your fault. It's not the OS, it's not the computer, it's not Microsoft or Bill Gates, it's your loving fault for not being careful, attentive, or smart with the stuff you download. I rarely get viruses, and when I do, they're because I did something I knew was sketchy. It's your responsibility to take care of your stuff and be responsible on the internet. Windows is not a loving crib, it does not take care of itself for you. Windows expects that you are competent enough to not forget it up. It's like a vehicle. You don't take your Toyota Coralla off-roading, and you don't download "FREE ASIAN research CLICK HERE.EXE".

But then again, I guess that's why you're using a mac: You're not intelligent enough to operate something without training wheels.

Isn't it funny how logic changes minds so fast?

Not true.

If I were to work daily, as my full-time job that I currently have, I'd be making like... idk. Let's say 20k a year. And I currently have 3 macs :/ 1 used for recording music, 1 used for editing music, and another used for mobility. :/

Sorry let me fix that.

You guys aren't taking into account that some people are just that rich. If a guy makes $100,000+ a year that means a macbook is about 3 days work for him. This is definitely not suited for anyone that is concerned about price or performance, but some people are rich and just use computers to browse the internet or work-related business.

handicapped teenagers buy them too.

What did you expect from a thin-as-forget laptop?

To be fair, the 2.93 GHz Xeon processor cost about $2300 when it first came out. The assumption that the only difference between the processors is the clock speed is just plain handicapped. I can't stand people who think like that; if I didn't already know Macs are bullstuff I would highly suspect the credibility of everything else the author of that image stated.
