something stupid happened to me. there is this fog that surrounds me when i play so i cant see anywhere near as far as i used to. any suggestions as to how to get rid of it?(and dont say uncheck textured fog, i already tried that)

To be more specific, press CTRL+O while in game, go to Advanced in the Controls menu, then drag your draw distance paddle all the way to the end.
