Language Discussion - Going to learn Latin

Yes Im going to learn the Latin language. Im learning it because Im going to end up going into a medical field of some sort when Im older, so yea.

Latin isn't even useful as a language any more, so personally I'd say that you were going to study Latin.

I don't think conversation Latin is even a thing any more. Latin is only useful in the study of the origin of modern language and high religion, as far as I know.

One of my friends got into the medical field and yes, the language does have its origins in many names of diseases

I'm 16 and have only the faintest idea of what I'm going to do after highschool. Pretty much, I know I'm going to try to go to college.

If thats how old you are Slugger, then you could wait to learn Latin.  Once you are actually about to actually go into the medical field, they will teach you.
