What.

Could you be any more vague? How did you get a "lazer burn" because your sister moved your Xbox?

If you tilt the Xbox then your disk can get scratched all around.
My dad did this to me on accident :c but he bought me a new one. c:

disk drive lazers dont burn scratches onto disks. nor would any lazer on earth "scratch" something.

He's saying he burned himself on the internal laser, which is impossible.

You're a real "cool guy".

It's not the laser. It's a metal object scratching it.

How scratched (or burned) is the disc?
If it's not at all readable, then obviously, there's nothing you can do but get a new copy of the game.
My local Game shop do a service where they take/add (can't remember which, probably add) a new layer onto the disc which can then be read by the Xbox.
If it's GTA IV then it's likely that they'd have a copy they can repair it with. It costs, but it's cheaper than a new disc.

Why was he stupid enough to shove his hand in there?
Everyone knows the lens has sharp edges.

His disk is scratched, not him.

Because it looks coool!

But I keep my Xbox down on its side, otherwise the disctray jams and breaks.
It is a fair point though, I don't make my computer's Disc Tray come out sideways.

I had the same thing happen to my GTA IV.

And three other games.

Take it to Gamestop, and tell them you're disk is forgeted up.

They clean my games pretty good.
Take a picture of the disk so I may see it.
It may not work if it's too serious.

I stand my Wii vertical over my horizontal Xbox 360. :cookieMonster:
