Author Topic: Broken iPod Touch  (Read 532 times)

As you can see... if you can, the screen is cracked in the bottom left.

Turn it on and look closer.

Good thing is, it still works.

nice.
how'd it break?
One of my mom's friends gave it to her, well because it's broken. My mom rarely uses it anymore. So I use it.  :cookieMonster: Edit: I don't know, I guess the person dropped it.

That plastic screen is actually replaceable. You can find websites with parts and instructions on how to replace it yourself. If you search well enough, you could probably find it pretty cheap. Cheaper than buying a new iPod at least.

I see people with iPod touches with cracked screens at my school all the time.

I don't know how they manage it, but I've actually seen less non-cracked-screen iPod touches than those that are cracked.

I was going to save up for a iPad, but I'm not even close. After using the iPod Touch, and using the iPad at my friends house. I might get a new iPod Touch. I got like $200+. If that's enough.

thats what cases are for. :D

and by cases i mean ones that elevate around the screen, making it hard to pierce except when it lands on an object that hits it directly.

I've never had a case on my iPod touch (except for one I owned when I first got mine, it scratched the back when it was brand new and I got rid of it, damn it all!), and I've dropped it a lot. The screen isn't cracked.
