Just like Blockland it needs to be able to write data, so yes probably.

Remove your Blockland file from the Program Files.

move AB and BL to C:\ instead of programfiles/downloads

Anyways I've been working on AfterBlock 2.0 which will be memory sensitive. Now is the time for requests and suggestions.
My request is to still let me beta test because last time I did it came with very good results. :3

But seriously, you could have blockland bulletin integration?

I'm still waiting for that mac version.

Again, the Mac version won't be made till porting to Mac is more secure and DLL alternatives for certain functions exist, which at this stage they don't.

Wait, I thought you mayd yours in gamemayker?

Yep its GML based however to port to Mac you have to roll back to a version 7 project (currently GM is 8) which requires you to repair the graphics (version 7 doesn't support PNG transparency) and change some scripts because certain functions were rephrased in version 8. Then we have decompiling issues which haven't been addressed for the Mac version, which pose a security risk for AB Mac. On top of that AB uses a few Windows dependent DLLs and there are no alternatives for this in Mac OSX at this stage, so there would be noticeable feature holes compared to the Windows edition.

I WILL make a Mac version, just when the time is right. Its not gonna happen overnight.

How could that pose a security risk?
Copyright risk, maybe, but not security risk.

People cold exploit things (especially in AfterBlock 2.0 which uses encryption for custom apps people make) re-release broken or damaged versions, and steal content. Its all a risk.

Hey, just a suggestion.
When you minimize it to the widget, it should show the time.

@Whole post: This is why, over all, a language like C++ is so much better.
@Quote: What the forget does that even mean?

Exploit what? Any exploit would still be there anyway. Also, why would it want to encrypt custom apps? Seems completely useless. And you could still re-release broken versions.
It seems like that it isn't any security you want to preserve, rather your control of the application.
