Author Topic: AfterBlock - Blockland Desktop Program [UPDATE 1.2 RELEASED]  (Read 38157 times)

That is really really weird and I'm baffled.
It can detect the directories, and most of the additional data but not the DLLs. It looks like it can't read in the Data folder. All the DLLs and the single piece of additional media held in the Data folder are unreadable....

This is strange, but of extreme help. I'll look into it ASAP.

I wonder why I'm not having these problems.

Code: [Select]
ERROR in
action number 1
of Create Event
for object sst:

Error defining external function
Got this while starting.
Help?

I can't do anything but give it the little information things.
Then when I re-launch it asks me for info again.

Also, the only way I can close the window is through the task manager.
Because the window never appears.

It's AWESOME! The only thing that doesn't work is the event cookbook. I have fast Internet, so I don't know the problem.

Sheath just admit your icy gamma -_-
This program is becoming another "Blockland Manager"

That's not relevant to this topic.

There now its relevant.

Not exactly sure how it manages Blockland although if it did I don't see what basis that gives for a complaint. But whatever.

The majority of computers out there either run 32-bit (can use up to 3GB of RAM efficiently) or 64-bit (can use up to 8GB of RAM efficiently) operating systems.

Actually, you can address up to 4GB with 32 bits, however Windows reserves the last GB (if present).

Also, the 64-bit cpus of today (AMD64 (yes, this includes Intel cpus))  has a virtual memory space limit of 48 bits (256 TB (1 TB (terabyte) = 1024 GB)) and has a limit on physical memory of 52 bits (4 PB (1 PB (petabyte) = 1024 TB).

Simplified, it's not a matter of 10 vs 20 but rather of 10 vs 100 (on a way bigger scale).

The Clan Plan will accept a PNG file and resize it appropriately. Not sure whats going on there. :U

Well, I think it acts like when making a sprite. GML will make any color the same as the bottom left pixel one transparent. So, in this case, since the bottom left pixel is green, any other pixel with the exact same color will be transparent.

i get this when i load it:
-snip-

Wtf are you using ubuntu? I think that's the problem... but technically the program wouldn't even start?!

Shouldn't be, remove background is disabled.
