Author Topic: AfterBlock - Blockland Desktop Program [UPDATE 1.2 RELEASED]  (Read 38154 times)

Come on, get to work on the Mac version. As long as it starts up, I'm happy.
Why don't you just try it in Wine? A lot of it doesn't work, but it does start up. :cookieMonster:

WINE is really shoddy, I don't recommend it. If you want to use AB on Mac, the best thing to do is wait. Nothing but the official Mac port will be any good.

Can't download aparently..

When I click "Click here to start download" it just refresh page, wtf?

This happen only on downloading page of AfterBlock

Any other files work fine, I can download them. But not AfterBlock.. weird..

Can you give another link to another uploading site?

Edit: Nvm, work now.

EDIT: WHAT THE HELL? AGAIN ERROR? SERIOUSLY WHAT THE forget?

Rage, lol,

Great, download messed up.

I downloaded it but then when i click "open" it said C:/Program Files/Afterblock 1.2 is denied.

wtf.

And now in the download box, when i press save and go into the Program files folder, theres a folder named Afterblock 1.1. But in windows explorer its not there.
In that Afterblock 1.1 folder there was a folder called "Data".
I even remember deleteing that folder.

This is bullstuff.

You don't know bullstuff.

-snip-
Run it as an administrator.

Don't call an application trash if it's your own fault for being so clueless.

Sorry, it irritates me when people call quality things crap.

WINE is really shoddy, I don't recommend it.
I disagree about the "really" part, but I don't want to derail this thread and start a holy war. :cookieMonster:
(AfterBlock in wine is pretty screwed up though, which is probably what you mean)

Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post.
Killer2 beat me to it.

This is a new version that requires manual reinstall, if your previous version was screwed up delete it and put Afterblock 1.2 in a fresh new folder.

If your permissions are screwed or you are crapping up your folders, its not mah problem.

Update 1.2 is out, fixing the error (PL0X).

You can not use the auto-updater, due to the fact this update requires a manual install after the file directory errors may cause the updater to be confused. Aside from that, BuB seems to have forgeted up their hosting.
Explain

Your "improved" system not only means I can't download the EXE myself using the link, but its causing an MD5 hash error... probably because the .exe turns to fluff. Lol.

Just downloaded the file from 3 different computers using that system. Just make sure that you have the correct caps. AfterBlock.exe, not Afterblock.exe

So did I, its correct case, the exact link provided. Downloads as 0 KB. I also tried it on different computers and operating systems, its not working and the updater alone seems proof of that.
