Author Topic: Punch Packet Problems?  (Read 1139 times)

I want to host my own server but no one can join because of stupid punch packets. How do I fix this...I know about the port forwarding thing but is there any other way?

No, there's no other way.
Unless you have UPnP disabled, then enable it to see if it works.

oh

also, UpNp hosting works for me, decent but sometimes can be a bit slow.

Okay, but I don't think my dad will let me mess with the router...

The "n" isn't capitalized.
But both Ps are.
It stands for Universal Plug 'n Play.

Generally port forwarding can be quite easy and completely harmless.
You just need to not mess up anything big.

No, most new routers already have UPnP, you dis/enable it in Blockland's options.
Not the router's.

K I'll give that a try.

Universal Plug 'n Play.
Why are people so lazy as to make an acronym with slang in it.

Well I'm sure that it actually has "and" instead.
I just prefer to type "'n."

Ima hover around her for a bit. I have a Rosewill RNX-N4PS Wireless router. I know about stealth mode, but not how to disable.
