Make the central area more mountainous. And maybe another island? Remember to keep some areas completely flat for building at least.

Ehh, looks a little better, BTW, nice job for a first. may I suggest smaller trees and maybe, like the others said, more hilly? Other than that, it looks pretty nice.

Trees are too large, and make many more and more packed. Also I would suggest palm trees, as pines aren't realistic on an island.
