I tried making a lightsaber, as you can see, but the transparency got all weird. How do i fix it?

Hmm. It's a transparent PNG, Right?

Okay. Disable the colourshift on the weapon and item datablocks.

change "docolorshift" to "false". :>

Also, the animation seems to be broken in first person :/

First, what animation?
Second, give us more details.
