Author Topic: Getting a car...  (Read 3245 times)

You only have to be 16. To drive a car.
To do list:
-Get devirginised
-Get out of school with grades
-Move to the US

stuffty laws? Americans get whatever the forget they want. There are no laws against owning cars at 16, it's just expensive and we believe in working for our items, not being given them by our parents or guardian.

"Age 20" You act like a 12 year old. Anyway you can get Licenses in Australia at the age of 16. "Owning a car", peoples definitions of this is pretty different from each other, some people think Owning as in driving it all the time but still registered under their parents name is owning a car. I own my own car but its registered under my parents name because of the ridiculousness fee's inexperienced drivers have to pay.

If you get a car don't put a fartpipe on it.
This, you're a total forget tard if you do specially on a stuff car, if you have a sweet car you shouldn't need the stuffty noise making stuff pipe.

Also note on the OP, 2 years you'll get you dads old car the one he's been fixing. To me its gonna be very stuff or he really likes the old school car and I somehow doubt you'll get it. Also having an old car is really stuff, no A/C, chairs are very uncomfortable. If you really need a car to show of your ego you really are an idiot. Though that's only assuming that's the purpose of an old sounding muscle car as you described.

if i ever get a car its going to be electric

Not american here sir. Im from the land of mayple syrup and hockey. Btw in alot of families in USA and Canada have had cars that have been handed down.

I might get a jeep when I'm 16. Of course, It will be for towing out to one of those huge off-roading sites for some EXTREME OFF-ROADING until I get all that stupid English car stuff you need to get, like MOT. Oh, and I have to be 18 do drive it on the roads. And I need a license, obviously.

I already have a DeLorean. I made it look like the BTTF One :P.

In fact, the company for DeLoreans went bankrupt because the Delorean was unreliable as a piece of monkeystuff

It was. It's a shame, they look pretty cool. AND there's the obvious BTTF thing.

I'm 14 and I already have a truck, 'cause I'm cool like that. :D

It sure is a bit of a shame, they look lovey.

I find it dumb to get a kid a vehicle before he can even drive it by himself or at all *coughstevecough*.

Feep, its fine and dandy your country values what it does and has the laws that it does but stop being a douche to people who live in the US and we have the laws the way we do. You act like these people are also getting brand new vehicles fresh off the line when Id suspect theyre not getting cars worth more than a few thousand dollars. I agree with Packer; for saying you're 20, you don't act like it.

Its 30° outside and supposed to be nice tomorrow as well, perhaps I can drive this weekend now that its not either stormy or the roads are stuffty. :D

Most dealerships won't let you by a car alone before you're 18.

Age has something to do with my argument?
