Keep in mind it's generally not worth cleaning out your registry and make sure you pay at least minimal attention to what you're doing when you change things in the registry. Don't just keep clicking next or fix all unless you're sure. Back it up first.

Just use Ccleaner to clean your registry, it can't hurt.
