Author Topic: Ski question  (Read 552 times)

Me and my friends are going skiing tomorrow, and I need to rent skis. I don't have skiing boots and was wondering if rented skis are usually the type that have locks for ski boots or if they have the harnesses that clamp onto normal boots? Also, what is the latter called?

If you rent skis they should come with boots, or at least the skis I rent have.  I'm assuming at most ski areas they have they include the ski boots, but you could always ask.

Skis never use harnesses. You would break your ankle.

They will ask you if you need skis and boots, just say yes.

Ah, was I getting skis confused with snowboards?
